The professorial look?
A side job as a Nick Nolte impersonator?
Can’t afford razor blades or electricity?
Doing research amongst the winos?
Need to avoid looking like an old mug shot?
Lost a bet?
And the big question, are you planning on keeping it when you accept your Oscar?
All of the above. And, given how gray the beard is, I have to say it gives me that “Extinguished Look.”
