Avenger Pilot Found!

I’ve identified the Navy torpedo bomber pilot who was shot down along with my Uncle Herb while they were attacking an Imperial Japanese task force in the battle for Guadalcanal in 1943. It will take more research to get the details sorted out, but a blockbuster story is definitely in the offing. Continue reading
